The Autumn Way

As Autumn comes in, it is the start of calm. This sense of calm runs inside one and is a time to deeply hold back on the energy of what the summer brought. If you live in a place with no four seasons this article will not be for you.
Things to prioritize in this season of autumn is stillness. Avoid the loud, whatever that may look like. This is a time for reflection and calm. Imagine taking a broom and cleaning the inside. This is that time.
It is in the food…
The first thing you want to be focused on is what you put in your body. Delicious apples, cinnamon, and warm breakfasts are more welcome during this time. Think of an egg or whole grain pancakes made of spelt. Cooking with sesame oil, earth veggies such as pumpkins, carrots, and beets. Plant based milks of choice are also handy to have.
During this time of the season, it is better not to focus on intermittent fasting. You need the energy. Avoid eating raw nuts, raw vegetables. Aim for three meals a day to keep you warm. The meals should not be gigantic; they should be just enough for you to munch up without feeling lethargic afterwards. A good rule of thumb is remembering the palm portions, two hundred grams rule. More than that, you might be overeating.
Now your lifestyle…
Your lifestyle in the Autumn should be a slow one and mindful one. A regenerative one in all ways. A fit exercise plan is paramount. Unlike in the spring and summer where the outdoors are your friends you might want to try a type of yoga, qigong, more calm stretching routines.
Whatever you do, don’ t forget the foot baths. Foot baths made from Himalayan salt or magnesium are nurturing at this point. Your feet will thank you and you will sleep better. Try a short soak of 15 minutes or a longer soak of up to 30 minutes. Pat dry and moisturize your feet with coconut or shea butter oil for tender loving care.
Create a beautiful sphere. Smell has a 100% to do with this set up. A worthwhile investment in essential burning or evaporating oils for the season will have you look at citrus, tangerine, and lavender variations. Citric notes bring a presence of warmth while lavender bring a calming energy.
Clothing and layering are the essentials for this autumn season. Always pack up extra socks and a warm snugly hat or beanie for your head. Your feet and head will give you a part on the shoulder for having not forgotten them. The gloves we shall save for the winter but hey… if the hands are cold cover them too. Always keep the unseen skin hydrated. Your skin is a huge protective layer offering coverage to the body. Warm, snug, and following routines like a puppy on a potty train is your time-lapse.
Less of this…
Now, I know you have seen the trend of cold showers and cold dips in ice. You might want to go slow on this. This is the season to unwind. Being cosy warm, and cute like an orange should be the mission here.
Go to bed early, no staying up late, no scrolling on your socials till late. Read instead. Write, journal and try adult colouring pages. They work like therapy. A new you will be born by morning. For the movie maniacs and television fellows, you might want to tone on that a little bit.
Lastly, stay as cool as a cucumber and do not run around like a hot potato. There is nothing to chase, what has not been done today can surely be done tomorrow. Stay calm. Stay warm. Light the energy saving candles and the real ones alike. Warm yourself lovely. With all these guidelines on your fingertips, you are ready to rock your Autumn.

Circle Back
May love, beauty, peace and harmony be restored within the sacred circle of life.
Reflection:
The world can sometimes seem like a hostile place. War rearing its ugly head. Kindness walking away. Brothers and sisters acting like enemies. Yet in totality, we all need each other. May this intention guide you further in to your peaceful space.

All time Guide
I am one with the elements of nature - earth, air, fire and water.
The sun, moon and the sky protect me.
The elements of nature are forever guiding me.
Reflection:
Do you find yourself exhausted? Go back to nature. Watch the rustle of leaves, feel the suns rays on your skin. Stay seated on the ground. You just might find an answer to your inner questions.

your purpose = your today
I am here.
I have great things to do today.
I have fulfilled everything I was meant to do today.
I am in tune with the universe.
I am here.
I am well.
Reflection:
There are no mistakes. Bad luck, good luck, to be or not to be. Every element in life's sphere is working with you. Your only mission is to make the best of the situation.

The High Excel
I have excelled.
I have put the best of my effort forth.
I have passed.
I leave the universe to will her way as is my intention.
I have excelled.
I have prepared well.
It is well.
Reflection:
At times one faces new challenges in life. We look for new avenues that can guarantee us success only not to find them. This mantra said to oneself quietly will calm one down and open channels to receive from a universe that is bountiful. Believe that what you will too has the desire to be manifested.
